在桃園青埔的陳宅，在一家人的不同生活的需求下，我們運用一個大框架和大面格柵，融合所有不同樓層、不同需求，在每位家庭成員保有個人風格和生活空間下一同生活，整合成一個「居」的所在。「居」 不單單指居住、居所 、一個居住的地方，而是保有個人隱私的狀態，人與人之間、人與環境間維持恰到好處的連繫，才是理想的居。

The Chen Residence in Qingpu, Taoyuan, was shaped around the diverse needs of a family. A large structural framework and expansive gridded façade connect different floors and functions, allowing each member to maintain individuality and privacy while living together. Here, “dwelling” is not only about a physical residence, but about a state of balance—where personal privacy, human relationships, and connection with the environment coexist in harmony.

業主陳爸爸是位活到老學到老的職人，身為40年老經驗的營造老闆，仍然堅持親自發包親自監工，且還不忘進入在職專班不斷進修，在這不斷漲價的營造市場，又背負全家希望的使命下，仍不斷告訴我們做出來的作品不能辜負每個家人（尤其是老闆娘）和學校老師和建築師的期待，真的好感動！

Mr. Chen, a lifelong craftsman with 40 years of experience, still personally oversees every project while continuing his professional studies. Despite rising construction costs and family expectations, he ensures every home meets the hopes of his loved ones and collaborators. Truly inspiring!
